2017 Course Schedule

Beginning February 2017, AppDirect will offer topic based remote instructor-led training to Silver service level and above channel partners. Remote instructor-led sessions offer channel partners the opportunity to ask questions in real-time.  While these sessions are targeted to new channel partners, they are also a great refresher for existing customers.  New courses are added frequently so, be sure to visit the 2017 course schedule often!

Branding the Marketplace

The Branding the Marketplace course provides learners with the knowledge needed to make simple to complex marketplace design changes through the use of the theme customizer tool. In this course learners will learn to identify the various marketplace design components such as typography and color changes and make simple changes to the marketplace header and footer using the theme customizer.

Customer Notifications

The Customer Notifications course provides learners with the knowledge needed to customize customer notifications using HTML and dynamic parameters for both email and SMS notifications.

Defining Products and Editions

The Products course provides learners with the knowledge needed to create and manage a variety of product types and editions to sell within the marketplace. In this course, learners will leave with an understanding of the various product types, product marketing profiles, edition and payment plans, and how marketplace customers may review and purchase marketplace products.

Working with Discounts

The Working with Discounts course provides learners with the knowledge needed to create and manage a variety of discount types for customers to use during product purchases. Discounts may be used with outside promotional efforts or within a customer notification template such as the, Product Purchased notification.

Subscriptions & Billing Lifecycles

The Subscriptions and Billing Lifecycles course focuses on how product subscriptions are created, provisioned, accessed by registered platform users, and their corresponding transition states.  The course also provides an overview of the platform billing configurations and how invoices are generated and interpreted.
